The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 23m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.7m; int. H 0.3m generally to 0.6m at SW; ext. H 1-1.1m) NE-S-W and a scarp (H 0.9m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.7m at SE to 3.5m at SW; D 0.2-0.3m) at NE and SW. There is no visible entrance. Church (RO011-099001-) is c. 120m to the SW.
