The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 25m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE), and situated towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a drumlin. Described as a semicircular bank with slight traces of an outer fosse truncated by a NW-SE field bank at NW and NE-SW field bank at SE (Gannon 1972), it is not visible at ground level in a coniferous forest.
