The National Monuments Service's description
On a low terrace in a low-lying landscape with a small W-E stream or drain c. 40m to the N. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 33m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.3m at S to 0.8m at N; ext. H 2m) N-E-SW, which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.5-1.75m) elsewhere. This is separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.4-6.3m; Wth of base 2.8m at NE to 3.65m at W) SSE-W-E from an outer bank (Wth 4.8-5m; int. H 0.8-1.45m; ext. H 1.5m) SSE-W-NE, and a second outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.2-0.5m) survives SW-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO010-088----) is c. 200m to the NW and hut-site (RO010-092----) is c. 110m to the SE.
