The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise on the NW-facing slope of a broad NE-SW ridge. Oval grass-covered area (dims 40m E-W; 28.5m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.4m at E to 5.5m at S; int. H 0.35m at E to 0.8m at W; ext. H 0.4m at E to 0.9m at S) NE-S-WNW and a scarp (H 0.5m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance, but a NW-SE drystone wall and townland boundary with Toormore overlies the interior towards the perimeter at E and a NE-SW wall overlies the perimeter at NW.
