The National Monuments Service's description
On the crest of a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NE: Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.8m; at S: Wth 5.7m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 2m), with an outer fosse (Wth of base 3.5-4m; D 0.7-1m) E-SW. There is no visible entrance, and the site is truncated by a NE-SW road at NW. Archaeological testing (07E0176) during 2007 c. 50m to the NE produced no related material (Henry 2010c).
