The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped feature (dims. c. 25m E-W; c. 20m N-S), and situated on a W-facing slope at the W end of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Described as a D-shaped area defined by an earthen bank and fosse (Gannon 1972). D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 24m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by a N-S field bank at W, and an E-W field bank at N. There are quarries (Wth of top 8m; int. D 1.2m; ext. D 0.5m) on the line of the bank E-S, but a fragment of the bank (Wth c. 3m H 0.3m) survives at E (L c. 5m). No trace of the monument can be seen beyond the field banks.
