At the W end of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 45.8m N-S; 41.7m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-4m; int. H 0.5m generally to 1m at E; ext. H 1.2-1.4m) NE-S and WNW-N, and by a scarp (H 0.9m generally to 1.3m at S) elsewhere. A berm (Wth 6.3-7.3m) separates it from an outer bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.6-1m) WSW-NNE. There are modern entrances at NE (Wth 6.3m) and S (Wth 6m). The large enclosure (RO009-020----) is c. 130m to the SSE.
