The National Monuments Service's description

Inside the bank of rath (RO008C028001-) at N. A creep (Wth 0.5-0.8m; H 0.85m; L 0.9m) enters the W end of the S side of an E-W corbelled and lintelled passage (dims 4.8m E-W; 1.25m N-S; H 1.3m). Another creep (Wth 0.8m; H 0.5m; L 0.8m) at the E end of the N wall leads to a circular and corbelled beehive chamber (diam. 2.9m N-S; 2.8m E-W; H 1.1m) with a large closing lintel (dims 2m x 1.9m) which underlies the bank of the rath.
