The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a cave within the possible rath (RO008C014001-) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (MA 64), but only the cave is marked on the 1915 ed. of the map. Situated on a slight knoll, no feature is visible at ground level in pasture.
