The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 55m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (MA 74), and situated towards the SE end of a NW-SE ridge, on the S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (diam. 27m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 1.5m at S) NE-SSW and a scarp down to the interior (H 0.3m at N) elsewhere. There is a record of a flagstone which may have been from a souterrain (RO008-030002-) in the S interior (Gannon 1972), which cannot now be seen.
