The National Monuments Service's description

On top of a small drumlin. Circular grass and rush-covered but poached area (diam. 27.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 1-1.3m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4m at N to 5.2m at E; D 0.1-0.3m). There is no visible entrance and field banks circumscribe the fosse S-W.
