The National Monuments Service's description

On an E-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.1-1m; max. ext. H 1m), which is reduced to a scarp (max. H 0.9m) E-S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Fulacht fia (RO007-092----) is outside the perimeter at SE and rath (RO007-020----) is c. 170m to the S. Archaeological testing (01E0519) 20-100m to the NW failed to produce any associated features (Read 2003b, 355).
