The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on improved, level pasture in a gently undulating landscape. It was first identified by Susan Curran as part of an M.A. thesis with University College Dublin using a LiDAR survey dataset commissioned by Leitrim County Council and the National Roads Authority. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 34m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by a slight scarp (at NNW: Wth 5.5m; H 0.45m) SW-N-ESE. The perimeter is overlain by an ENE-WSW wall and hedge at S, which is the townland boundary with Toberatarvan, but it can be traced as a slight rise S of this. There is no visible fosse or entrance.
