The National Monuments Service's description

On a low NE-SW ridge. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth c. 5m; int. H 0.2-1m; ext. H 2m) which is surmounted by the foundations of a drystone wall (Wth 1.3-1.5m). This is separated by a fosse (Wth of base 3-3.4m; D 0.2-1.2m) from a central earthen bank (Wth 5.6-6.2m; ext. H 1.4-1.5m) which is surrounded by a complete fosse (Wth of base 3.5-5.5m; D 0.1-1.2m), and a third complete bank (Wth 4-7.3m; ext. H 0.3-1.4m), which is incorporated into a field bank E-SW. There is an entrance (Wth 1.5m) only through the inner bank at E. Souterrain (RO006-153002-) is inside the inner bank at N. Archaeological testing (02E0167; 05E0619; 07E0625) c. 120m distant NW-NE failed to produce any related material (Read 2004k; Henry 2008a; Henry 2010a). Bowl barrow (RO006-155----) is c. 100m to the ENE, rath (RO006-154----) is c. 80m to the S, and earthwork site (RO006-156----) is c. 90m to the SE.
