The National Monuments Service's description
On a shelf on the N-facing slope of a ridge with a working quarry immediately to the W and N. Subcircular area (diam. 32.7m N-S; 30.5m E-W) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3m at S to 5m at E; int. H 0.1m generally to 0.5m at E; ext. H 0.15m at W to 1.4m at N) with intermittently visible facing stones (original Wth. 1.8-2.2m). There is no visible entrance, but souterrain (RO006-131002-) is inside the perimeter at SW. Cashel (RO006-131003-) is c. 60m to the ENE.
