The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight rise of a gentle N-facing slope, c. 450m WNW of Ardcarn church site (RO006-103001-). Circular mound (diam. of base 8.2m NE-SW; 7.5m NW-SE) with a flat top (dims 3m NE-SW; 2.4m NW-SE; H 0.3-0.8m) which may mark the site of a tree in full view of Ardcarn House c. 220m to the SSE.
