The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight rise on a gentle N-facing slope, and within the ambit of the fields of the deserted settlement (RO006-103007-). Described in 1968 as a circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank, perhaps surmounted by a stone wall, separated by a fosse from an outer earthen bank (SMR file), which was removed in 1968 and is now largely occupied by the N4 roadway. Cairn (RO006-103011-) is c. 70m to the WNW.
