The National Monuments Service's description

A fort at this location was re-used in the 16th century troubles and lost by a Capt. Greene O'Mulloy, presumably to rebels, by 1596 (Cronin 1980, 118). There is no fort as such in the townland and the barrow (RO005-039----) is too small, but perhaps the nearby trivallate ringfort (RO005-038----) in Lisserdrea is meant, which might account for the outer banks.
