The National Monuments Service's description
Running NW-SE through the Curlew Mountains (L c. 3 km) from Boyle to Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Its NW end is now in a coniferous forest and untraceable, but the SE end crossed raised bog (L c. 2km) as a slight depression (Wth 6-10m; D 0.5-1m), and in farmland it is a lane bounded by drystone walls, or an occasional stretch of a hollow way in pasture.
