The National Monuments Service's description

Close to the E shore of Lough Meelagh (dims. c. 2km E-W; c. 600-1 km N-S) and c. 40m from the N shore. Circular submerged artificial mound of stones (diam. c. 30m) just below the present surface of the lake. A quernstone is visible within the matrix. Crannog (RO004-004----) is c. 100m to the SE.
