The National Monuments Service's description
In deep water at the SW corner of Lough Meelagh (dims c. 2km E-W; c. 600m-1km N-S), c. 160m from its S shores. Circular overgrown island (diam. c. 18m; H 0.8-1m) of stones and earth but with no evidence of timber features or of artificial construction.
