The National Monuments Service's description
About 80m from the S shore of Lough Skean (dims c. 1km E-W; c. 700m N-S). Subcircular overgrown island (dims 28m E-W; 23m N-S) with a raised interior (dims 16.5m E-W; 13.5m N-S; H 0.5-0.8m) of stones and earth. There is no evidence of artificial construction.
