The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on rising ground in undulating countryside. Present remains consist of a sub-circular shaped area (diam. 27m N-S) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank (Wth 3m) reduced in places to a scarp and elsewhere enhanced by dumping of field clearance debris. No evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature. Field fence intersects site at NW. The presence of beech trees along the perimeter of the enclosure, its location on demsene land and its depiction on the OS 6-inch map suggest that this may be the site of a tree-ring. May have been a ringfort that was reused as a tree-ring.
