The National Monuments Service's description
Curving arc of possible ecclesiastical enclosure visible in field 95m N of Fancroft church (OF043-023----) and graveyard (OF043-023001-) clearly visible on Google Earth aerial photograph taken 18/01/2018. Possible motte (OF043-020----) in field 170m to NW and sunken road (OF043-023002-) 50m to NE. The curving arc may represent the continuation of the road around the base of the hillock on which the medieval church is located. No trace of enclosure to E or S of church and graveyard although the field is covered in post-1700 ridge and furrow cultivation ridges which may have removed traces of any enclosing element on this side of the church.
See attached aerial photograph taken from Google Earth.
