The National Monuments Service's description

Founded by St. Kieran the elder in the fifth century (ITA Survey 1943). Quoin stone possibly of the medieval church containing a womans head carved in relief. Other fragments of window mouldings of medieval date lie scattered alongside of the footpath to the N and W of the C of I church. Several sandstone rotary quernstones located alongside footpath to S of C of I church.
