The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a natural shelf on E facing slope of rising ground in upland area. Large circular area (diam 45m E-W) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with intervening fosse (Wth 2.5m; ext. D 0.5m). Inner bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.5m) is best preserved while outer bank is poorly preserved especially at S with possible entrance gap (Wth 2m) at E. Overgrown nature of site made examination of outer bank impossible.
