The National Monuments Service's description

Seven irregularly laid roundwoods with pieces of brushwood and wood chips (Wth 2.66m; D 0.32m). The heavier roundwoods are located on the NE side of the deposit where the deposit is densest. On the SW side of the site the structure is more dispersed and has a higher proportion of woodchips with some brushwood. Wood species include hazel, holly, alder, ash, oak and willow. The site is within moderately humified Sphagnum peat with a lot of Menyanthes seeds, ericaceous root and occasional pieces of Eriophorum.
