The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on top of low natural ridge. Raised roughly square area (22m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.25m) with partial fosse (Wth 1m; ext. D 0.25m) which survives at W only with field boundary intercepting site at S and E. No visible entrance feature. Depicted as a roughly square shaped earthwork and annotated as a 'Fort' on the Ordnance Survey Fair Plan Map.
