The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 14.21m; Wth 1.25m; D 0.2m) is orientated NNE-SSW and consists of a compact structure of longitudinally laid pieces of brushwood and roundwoods set below a single plank and roundwood. This created a central walking surface (Wth 0.4m). The oak plank was irregularly split. It appears to dive under the central roundwoods to the W. The woodworking is degraded but suggests metal tools. This material is set in poorly-humified fen peat which contained Phragmites, bark fragments and occasional Menyanthes seeds.
