The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 4.1m; Wth 1m; D 1m) occurs in the peat face of a private bog adjacent to the Bord na Móna bog and consists of brushwood and three roundwoods, laid 1-2 pieces deep. The site appears to be orientated N-S, with the wood longitudinally laid. No woodworking is evident. A piece of brushwood is located 0.15m above the main concentration but its association to the site is unclear.
