The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 4.94m; Wth 1.07m; D 0.05m) is orientated E-W and is constructed of widely spaced transverse heavy brushwood above and below which lie very densely packed longitudinal light brushwood. Amongst this material, particularly at the S side of the site, are small twig beds. Two pegs, set at 60°, lie within the main body of the site. The wood is in poor to moderate condition with woodworking evidenced by two chisel points. This site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and a large amount of ericaceous remains. SMR OF026-078---- is 2.4m to the SW and SMR OF026-080---- is 3.15m to the NE.
