Very fragmentary remains of a now featureless church in a much neglected walled graveyard. Only part of S face of N wall (max L c. 8m, max. H 2.50m) and small portion of base of W wall. Built with roughly course rubble limestone. Three rectangular shaped opes in N wall appear to be later insertions. (Comerford 1883, 195).

Very fragmentary remains of a church within a much neglected graveyard (OF026-028002-). Only part of the N wall (max. L c. 8m; max. H 2.5m) with its N face missing and a very small portion of the base of the W wall can be seen above ground level. Church is built with rubble limestone roughly coursed and the N wall has a line of three rectangular shaped opes (c. 0.3m by 0.4m) set at the same height. These appear to be later insertions. According to Comerford (1883, 195) small portion of E gable erected in the 19th-century. No other features visible. Square shaped graveyard with 18th/19th-century headstones enclosed by a stone wall.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
