The National Monuments Service's description
House indicated within townland of Derrie (Ballaghderry) on the Down Survey (1655-6) map of the region. Its owner in 1641 was John Molloy of Gortacurraghmore and was granted in 1663 to Charles Molloy (Loeber 1988)
