Unlocated house indicated on the Down Survey (1654-7) map (NLI, MS 716). The SMR office has marked the ruins of Mountpleasant House on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map as the possible site for this house that is marked on the 17th century map. No surface remains of any dwelling pre-1700 in area where the ruins of Mountpleasant House is indicated on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map. Only a few scattered stones protrude from the surface of the ground in the area where Mountpleasant House is indicated on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map.
