The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 4.9m; Wth 1.1m; D 0.05m) consists of brushwood, timbers and occasional twigs on the field surface, orientated E-W. The timbers range from small split pieces to two large planks (L 2.56m max; Wth 0.27 max.; D 0.05m). One of the planks is too degraded to determine its conversion but does have a damaged mortice at one end. The other is tangentially split. The majority of the brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.04m) flanks the N side of one of the planks and is at a slightly lower level. This site is in poor to moderate condition with the upper surfaces of the timbers suffering machine damage. This site lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat a large amount of ericaceous remains and occasional Eriophorum.
