The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 4.46m min.; Wth 2.19m; D 0.09m) is orientated NE-SW and consists of roundwoods (diam. 0.065-0.11m), brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.055m), occasional twigs and a single peg. This material is one piece deep and the majority of the elements are laid transversely, 0.04-0.12m apart. One of the roundwoods is longitudinally laid and delimits the E extent of the site. The peg (diam. 0.05m) is set at 45° and appears to be supporting a transverse roundwood near the N extent. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with a large amount of Eriophorum and unidentified reeds. This site may relate to SMR OF019-021----, c. 50m to the NE, which is similar in composition and orientation.
