The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 8.6m min.; Wth 3.63m; D 0.14m) is orientated NE-SW and composed of transverse roundwoods and brushwood. The roundwoods (diam. 0.1m max.) are regularly laid and closely set with some intermixed brushwood. A number of roundwoods with metal-cut wedge points were noted. The wood is in poor condition and set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and fibrous roots. Radiocarbon dated to 391-63 cal. BC (Wk-11722).
