The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 14.26m; Wth 1.57m min.; D 0.05m) is orientated ESE-WNW and is largely destroyed. The length of the site is derived from a spread of material across the field surface and the precise width of the structure could not be ascertained. Where examined, it consists of twenty-six fragmented pieces of light brushwood and two light roundwoods, longitudinally and transversely laid. Most of the wood is in poor condition and evidence for branch-trimming was noted. It is set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum and ericaceous remains.
