The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 2.34m; Wth 1.645m; D 0.22m) is orientated ENE-WSW and is composed of fifteen pieces of mixed brushwood, three roundwoods and occasional twigs. Most of the elements are longitudinally laid with a small number of transverses. The wood is widely spaced, one piece in depth and in moderate condition. Three chisel points and an incomplete pencil point were noted. The site lies in poorly to moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and some ericaceous remains.
