The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 2.03m; Wth 1.04m; D 0.06m) is orientated E-W and consists of the remains of a hurdle panel on the field surface. It is composed of longitudinal brushwood (diam. 0.04-0.045m) and twigs, 2-3 pieces deep, with the fragmented remains of some sails. The wood is in good condition, with some metal-cut toolmarks evident, although the top of the site has been disturbed by milling. The site sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional ericaceous remains.
