The National Monuments Service's description
Four roundwoods in opposing drain faces (Wth 0.6m min.; D 0.3m min.). Two of the pieces overlie the other two at right angles. Branch-trimming is evident on a displaced roundwood. The wood has been identified as alder with a single piece of holly. The site is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat and is overlain by Eriophorum.
