The site (L 244.57m min.; Wth 2.3m; D 0.18m) orientated NNE-SSW. At seven sightings it appears as a small spread of gravel and sand (dims. 0.3-0.8m x 0.5-1.5m) although some are more scattered on the field surface. At the remaining sightings, the site is noted in the drain face up to 0.5m below the field surface. The main body of the site ranges in width (Wth 0.54-2.3m) and depth (D 0.03-0.18m) along its length. Gravel, sand and pebbles are the principle elements of the structure although their proportions vary along the length of the site. At some locations, these elements have been depressed and are mixed into the peat, thus forming less dense deposits of gravel or pebbles.
At the most NE sighting, the site consists of a well-defined gravel deposit (Wth 0.54m; D 0.06m), formed of well-mixed, fine angular limestone pebbles and coarse sand. At this location, the site is in poorly humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat containing occasional ericaceous roots. At the most SW sighting, the gravel deposit is most extensive and a single piece of alder brushwood was included on the E side. Here, the site is located in very poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous root. This site is approximately parallel to and at the same level as SMR OF015-279----, although it is not certain if the sites are related. SMR OF015-276---- is located 0.5m to the E of this site at a lower level in the peat.
