The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 2.33m min.; Wth 1m min.; D 0.11m min.) is orientated E-W on the field surface and consists of predominantly linear arrangement of light brushwood and twigs. A piece of forked, heavy brushwood is located 1.1m W of the main deposit. Metal-cut toolmarks are present on some of the pieces. Birch is the predominant wood species recorded with ash and willow also represented. The site sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. Further spreads of brushwood are noted on the field surface in this area.
