The National Monuments Service's description

The partial remains of a brushwood and roundwood structure (L 93.59m; Wth 2.28m; D 0.06m), orientated NNE-SSW and evident at three sightings on the field surface. The site has been damaged by milling. At the NE sighting, the site consists of two transverse roundwoods and three longitudinal pieces of light brushwood, very sparsely arranged. Metal-cut toolmarks are apparent. Wood species include hazel and alder. This material is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum.
