The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 8.58m; Wth 0.95m; D 0.12m) is orientated NE-SW and constructed of brushwood and roundwood, evident at two sightings on the field surface. At the NE sighting, the structure consists of a dispersed series of transverse elements (diam. 0.015-0.085m) overlying two longitudinal pieces of brushwood. At the SW end of this area, two roundwoods (diam. 0.065-0.085m), are orientated N-S. Of the wood identified, alder was the predominant species, with one piece of birch noted. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat.
