The National Monuments Service's description

A site (L 5.7m min.; Wth 3.2m min.; D 0.12m) is formed of longitudinal, compact brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.06m) and roundwoods (av. diam. 0.12m), orientated N-S. Only the E side of the site could be traced; here, the structure is less dense and is formed of light brushwood. Alder, ash and oak were identified and a single chisel point was noted. Further wood is present on the field surface to the S and may be associated with this site. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous roots.
