The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 1.3m min.; Wth 0.54m; D 0.08m) is orientated ENE-WSW and consists of brushwood, laid 1-2 pieces deep, with two possible pegs on the field surface. The pieces (diam. 0.01-0.042m) are closely spaced and are longitudinally laid. The pegs are set at 40° and 50°, positioned on either side of the main structure. Two of the pieces have been cut to chisel points. Four pieces were identified as alder. The site is in well-humified Sphagnum peat.
