The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 47.24m min.; Wth 1.5m; D 0.44m min.) is orientated NW-SE and consists of light brushwood, a single plank and a number of pegs. The elements are irregularly laid and widely spaced. There are occasional concentrations of brushwood but overall the material does not form a continuous band. Woodworking is evidenced by metal toolmarks and a radially split plank. One piece was identified as hazel. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat.
