The site (L 1.72m min.; Wth 0.84m; D 0.085m) is orientated N-S on the field surface. It consists of compact, longitudinal, light brushwood laid three pieces deep, underlain by a single transverse piece and secured with a peg. The transverse piece is located approximately midway along its full length. The peg is set at 55° and is located near the centre of the site at its N end. A number of pieces have metal-cut chisel points. Three of the pieces were identified as alder, a fourth was identified as willow. The site is in well-humified Sphagnum peat.
