The National Monuments Service's description
Sandstone inscribed slab (dims. 0.14m x 0.19m x 0.06m) unearthed by Kendrick in his 1935 excavations at Gallen Priory. Stone bears an inscription that reads LEC GURGEN that translates as 'Stone of Gurgen' (Macalister 1949, 75).
